Proposition 65 (AKA the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires any business doing business in California to provide a “clear and reasonable warning” against exposure to any chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects. This includes any chemicals used in the manufacturing of a product or chemicals in any inks used for imprinting the product.
